On August 25, the kids started at their new school. Jace was so excited, Summer was excited too but she's been doing this for a couple of years and is pretty used to it. They were so cute...they both like school, some days more than others. They can't wait to be able to ride their bikes to school on there own.
That night my mom came to go to the American Idol concert with me. It was at the American Airlines center and after my mom was able to loosen her white knuckled grip on our nosebleed section seats we had alot of fun! The music was great and Jason Castro was awesome :)

Somehow I convinced my mom (ok so maybe I forced her by taking the car keys hostage) to stand outside for 2, yes 2 hours to see the idols up close and personal. By the time they came out most of the other people waiting had left so I was right up next to them. I got to shake each ones' hand and talk to most of them. I also got autographs from each of them. The only ones that didn't show were Ramiele, David Cook, and Castro. I was SO disappointed, we thought there was no way Castro would dis his hometown but Brooke told us that he had 150 family and friends upstairs and wouldn't be coming out. :( I only wish that they would have told us in the beginning and then we wouldn't have waited there all night!

Hi Whitney, This is Tyler's cousin Heather. I just wanted to say I have been blog stalking you for quite awhile and I think your kids are adorable!!! I can't believe their eyes are so blue! You take wonderful pictures. Maybe someday we can come down your way and have you take some of my kids! We are in Oklahoma by the way! Keep up the great pictures I love to look!
